AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH GALLO CONSTRUCTION CORP. REGARDING GENERAL CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR THE MVP ARENA SOUND SYSTEM UPGRADE

WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of General Services has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with Gallo Construction Corp. regarding general construction services for the MVP Arena sound system upgrade in an amount not to exceed $448,800 for a term commencing October 1, 2026 and ending September 30, 2027, and
WHEREAS, The Department of General Services, through the Purchasing Agent, received one bid regarding the MVP Arena sound system upgrade and Gallo Construction Corp. was deemed the sole responsible bidder, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Gallo Construction Corp., Watervliet, NY 12189 regarding general construction services for the MVP Arena sound system upgrade in an amount not to exceed $448,800 for a term commencing October 1, 2026 and ending September 30, 2027, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
