AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 539 FOR 2023 REGARDING THE 2023 STATE LAW ENFORCEMENT TERRORISM PREVENTION PROGRAM

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 539 for 2023, this Honorable Body authorized an agreement with the New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services regarding the 2023 State Law Enforcement Terrorism Prevention Program in an amount of $120,000 for the term commencing October 1, 2023 and ending September 30, 2026, and
WHEREAS, The Sheriff has requested authorization to amend the agreement to reflect a term ending August 31, 2027 rather than September 30, 2026, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that Resolution No. 539 for 2023 is hereby amended to reflect a term ending August 31, 2027 rather than September 30, 2026, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said amendment as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
