PUBLIC HEARING ON THE 2027 TENTATIVE ANNUAL BUDGET

 

                     Introduced:  10/13/26

                     By Cunningham:

 

                     WHEREAS, Section 603(d) of the Albany County Charter (Charter) directs that the Tentative Annual Budget as prepared by the County Executive shall be filed with the Clerk of the Legislature on or before October 10th, and

 

                     WHEREAS, Section 604(a) of the Charter provides that the first of two public hearings on the tentative annual budget shall be held no later than October 30th, now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Albany County Legislature will hold a public hearing on the 2027 Tentative Annual Budget, with participation instructions available on the Albany County Legislature website, at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, in the William J. Conboy II Legislative Chambers, and the Clerk of the Legislature is directed to cause notice of such hearing to be published containing the necessary information in accordance with applicable provisions of the Charter.
