DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST: (state briefly why legislative action is requested)
The Department of Public Works requests Legislative approval to enter into an agreement with WM. J Keller & Sons Construction Corp. for construction of a new salt shed in the Coeymans subdivision. Three (3) bids were received, with WM. J Keller & Sons Construction Corp. submitting the lowest at $951,181.00 (including 10% contingency). Based on the successful completion of other contracts for Albany County, it is recommended that Contract 1 - General Construction, be awarded to WM. J Keller and Sons in an amount not to exceed $951,181.00.
