DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST: (state briefly why legislative action is requested)
We request the Legislature’s approval of an agreement with All States Construction, Inc, d/b/a Gorman Construction for Cold in Place (CIP) Recycling Project on CR401 in the Town of Westerlo and CR202 in the Town of New Scotland. All States Construction, Inc., d/b/a Gorman Construction, for over 28 years. They are an approved contractor under the New York State contract (Group 31555, Award 23428) and have consistently delivered excellent service and quality work for the County at or under budget. Based on their proven track record, I highly recommend moving forward with All States Constriction, Inc., d/b/a Gorman Construction at a cost not to exceed $1,601,165.66. This amount includes $1,524,915.66 for the quoted price plus a 5% contingency ($76,250.00) for fluctuations that may occur in fuel prices.
