DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST: (state briefly why legislative action is requested)
This request is to enroll 5 County-owned buildings that are located on the St. Rose Campus in ecolong LLC’s E-GIH, or Grid Interactive Homes Pilot. This is a no-cost program to the County that provides these County buildings with energy monitoring systems that optimize building utility usage. The devices and the program will provide analysis and insights into energy usage in the buildings and provide personalized recommendations and real-time energy usage data to allow the County to manage and optimize electricity usage.
