AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 83 FOR 2022 REGARDING AMENDMENTS TO THE 2022 SHERIFF’S OFFICE BUDGET

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 83 for 2022, this Honorable Body amended the 2022 Sheriff’s Office Budget in order to meet current and anticipated staffing needs through the year end of 2022, and
WHEREAS, The Sheriff’s Office has requested an amendment to the resolution to reflect the staffing needs of their office, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature, that Resolution No. 83 for 2022 is hereby amended as follows:
Delete the First RESOLVE clause, and replace it with the following:
“RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature, that the 2022 Sheriff’s Office Budget is hereby amended as follows:
Decrease Appropriation Account A3110.1 by $168,000 by Decreasing and Deleting the following line items:
Decrease and Delete Line Item A3110 1 1393 001 370214 Deputy Dir. Comm. Emer. Srvs. by $50,000
Decrease and Delete Line Item A3110 1 4131 004 370210 Sheriff’s Sr. Investigator by $50,000
Decrease and Delete Line Item A3110 1 4138 017 370068 Sheriff’s Deputy by $68,000
Decrease Appropriation Account A3020.1 by $39,372 by Decreasing the following Line Items:
Decrease and Delete Line Item A3020 1 3306 005 360010 Telecommunicator by $36,000
Decrease Line Item A3020 1 9970 Temporary Help by $3,372
Increase Appropriations Account A3110.1 by $168,000 by Creating and Increasing the following Line Items:
Create and Increase Line Item A3110 1 2448 001 379270 Health and Safety Coord. by $46,886 with an annual salary of $60,000
Create and Increase Line Item A3110 1 4135 004 379269 Sheriff’s First Sergeant by $61,242 with an annual salary of $79,645
