DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST: (state briefly why legislative action is requested)

Request to designate 60 South Pearl (Mercantile Building) as surplus property and sell said property to Liberty Park Development, LLC in the amount of $1,489,000.00. This building is reaching the end of its service life and requires infrastructure improvements. Furthermore, the building would serve better use developed for economic improvement in the downtown area, being directly across from the MVP arena in the heart of Albany.
