The Department for Mental Health is requesting legislative authorization to amend Resolution No.459 adopted on 11/10/2025. We are requesting approval to accept additional funding for Albany County Department of Children, Youth and Families, from New York State Office of Mental Health. This funding will provide additional needed services to Albany County residents. New York State Office of Mental Health has advised that there is additional funding for Albany County Department of Children, Youth and Families services in the amount of $185,162, which is 100% state funded.
