DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST: (state briefly why legislative action is requested)
The Department of Public Works respectfully requests the Legislature’s approval of the attached Supplemental Agreement 1 between Albany County and the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) for design and right-of-way (ROW) services related to the replacement of the CR 352 Bridge over Fox Creek. This project was awarded 2022 Bridge NY funding and will be funded 95% funded through federal funds and 5% by Albany County. Albany County will be required to pay 100% of the upfront costs with the understanding that the costs will be eligible for reimbursement. The proposed Supplemental Agreement provides an additional $15,776.00 in funding for design and right-of-way (ROW) services and revises Schedule B and Appendix A accordingly (see attached). The original agreement, executed in 2024, was in the amount of $283,121.00. As amended by this Supplemental Agreement, the total contract amount will increase to $298,897.00.
