DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST: (state briefly why legislative action is requested)
The Public Defender’s Office requests authorization to make administrative adjustments to the Assistant Public Defender VI and Enhanced Pay expense lines in its 2026 budget. The Office became aware of the need for these adjustments after the budget was approved by the Legislature, as the year progressed. The adjustments are budget neutral and reflect an aggregate net adjustment of $250,000.
