AMENDING THE 2022 DEPARTMENT OF MENTAL HEALTH BUDGET: ADMINISTRATIVE ADJUSTMENTS

WHEREAS, The Director of the Department of Mental Health has requested authorization to amend the 2022 Mental Health Department Budget to fund two Clinical Director positions and one Staff Social Worker II position, increase the salary of a Confidential Secretary, and add funds to the Overtime line, and
WHEREAS, The Director has indicated that this budget amendment will defund the positions that are currently less relevant to mission-critical operations at this time, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the 2022 Department of Mental Health Budget is amended as follows:
Decrease Appropriation Account A4310.1 by $72,235 by decreasing the following line items:
Decrease Line Item A4310 1 5183 002 430193 Health Home Care Manager by $16,181 for an annual salary of $56,084
Decrease Line Item A4310 1 2201 004 430031 Supervising Social Worker by $19,406 for an annual salary of $66,037
Decrease Line Item A4310 1 6043 003 430182 Keyboard Specialist I by $20,583 for an annual salary of $71,342
Decrease Line Item A4310 1 2205 028 430059 Staff Social Worker by $16,065 for an annual salary of $55,684
Decrease Appropriation Account A4310.8 by $5,456 by decreasing the following line items:

Decrease Line Item A4310 8 9030 Social Security by $2,024
