The Department of Public Works (DPW) respectfully requests the Legislature’s approval to accept Roadway Departure Safety Action Plan Funding in the amount of $1,463,000.00 for the design and installation of guiderail at specific locations in Albany County. The project cost is estimated at $1,540,000.00. The County’s required 5% local share is $77,000.00 and will be funded through the Department of Public Works’ Highway and Trail Improvement Project Capital Plan.
