DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST: (state briefly why legislative action is requested)
The Albany County Dept. of Management and Budget respectfully requests authorization to release the right of reverter of title to 239 Green Street, City of Albany, Tax Map Identification Number 76.65-5-25. 239 Green Street was conveyed to Albany Housing Authority (AHA) by deed recorded in Liber 3081, Page 742, in October of 2013. That deed contained a right of reverter providing that title would return to Albany County if AHA failed to meet the conditions outlined therein.
All conditions for the release of the reverter have been met by AHA. Accordingly, the Dept. of Management and Budget requests that the Albany County Legislature issue a Certificate of Compliance and Release of Reverter, confirming that the satisfactory rehabilitation of 239 Green St. has completed.
