DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST: (state briefly why legislative action is requested)
General Services is requesting authorization for a contract with MJG Construction Group, LLC for the Stedman House Exterior Renovation Project with a not to exceed cost of $831,500.00. The not to exceed cost includes their base bid of $710,000.00, 15% contingency allowance of $106.500.00 and a security access control system allowance of $15,000.00.
This project will address exterior structural deterioration and historical preservation of the Stedman House building located at 1 Lodge Street adjacent to the Judicial Center.
Costs of this project will be covered by bond HHX0 Res. No. 10 of 2023.
The projected term of this contract is October 1, 2025 through September 30, 2026.
