DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST: (state briefly why legislative action is requested)
The Department of Public Works is requesting the Legislature's approval to enter into an agreement with Colliers Engineering & Design for Design, Right-of-Way (ROW) Incidentals/Acquisition and Construction Inspection (CI) of the County Route 301 (Tarrytown Road) over Onesquethaw Creek PIN 1762.93 Culvert Replacement Project. The project received $1,500,000.00 in funding through the 2023 Culvert NY Program. Per the requirements of the Culvert NY program, consultant selection was quality based. The total cost for Design, ROW Incidentals/Acquisition and CI is $495,663.00, as such 100% of these costs will be eligible for State reimbursement. Albany County will be required to pay 100% of the upfront costs with the understanding that the costs will be eligible for reimbursement.
