This 8 month contract extension request will provide the County the flexibility to help mitigate escalating energy costs. It will also provide additional time needed to integrate recently acquired County facilities into a new RFP package for future electric supply and evaluated potential opportunities for incorporating some of these facilities into a demand response program.
