DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST: (state briefly why legislative action is requested)

The Crime Victim & Sexual Violence Center (CVSVC) requests authorization to enter into a three-year contract with the New York State Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence (OPDV) for the Enough is Enough (EiE) Program for the period of May 1, 2026, through April 30, 2029. The contract provides annual funding of $138,428, for a total award amount of $415,284 over the three-year term.

EiE funding supports CVSVC’s provision of direct services to survivors of sexual assault, domestic and relationship violence, human trafficking, stalking, and related crimes on college campuses throughout Albany County. The funding also supports campus-based awareness initiatives, violence prevention programming, and educational outreach activities.

CVSVC further requests authorization to accept the first year of funding in the amount of $138,428 for the contract period of May 1, 2026, through April 30, 2027. This funding has already been incorporated into the County’s 2026 budget, as CVSVC has historically participated in the EiE Program and has consistently received this grant funding.
