DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST: (state briefly why legislative action is requested)
Pursuant to RFP 2025-048 Architect/Engineer Consulting Services for Various Projects at the MVP Arena the Department of General Services respectfully requests the approval of a contract with Delta Engineers, Architects, & Surveyors for a not to exceed cost of $350,000.00.
Delta Engineers, Architects, & Surveyors will provide professional architectural and engineering services for a variety of Albany County projects at the MVP Arena, based on the approved Capital Plan. The projects may be both small and large in scale, will require varying levels of involvement on behalf of Delta Engineers, Architects & Surveyors, and will often require a prompt turn-around of services. Project assignments under this term contract will vary, and may include planning, design and/or construction phase services at the Albany County MVP Arena as further identified in the scope of services.
Funding for this contract will be covered under bond HKV4 Res No 77 of 2026 dated March 9, 2026. Expenditures associated with this contract will be based on services requested and rendered with a cumulative total not to exceed $350,000.00.
The term of this contract will be for (3) three years starting from the date of a fully executed contract.
