DESCRIPTION OF REQUEST: (state briefly why legislative action is requested)
The Division of Information Services is requesting funding authorization in the amount of $1,500,000 for FY2026 to finance the “New Facilities IT Infrastructure Upgrades” Capital Project. Projects include upgrading core switches, upgrading firewalls, upgrading fiber runs between sites and within buildings, improvements to internet service lines, upgrading camera and access control systems and other operation technology needs at new sites. Inclusive of this request, the total County Financing made available for the “New Facilities IT Infrastructure Upgrades” project will be $2,000,000.
