AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH WM. J. KELLER AND SONS CONSTRUCTION CORP. REGARDING THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SALT SHED AT THE COEYMANS SUBDIVISION

By Public Works Committee:

 

                     WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of Public Works has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with WM. J. Keller and Sons Construction Corp. regarding the construction of a salt shed at the Coeymans subdivision in an amount not to exceed $951,181 for a term commencing on June 1, 2026 and ending on May 31, 2027, and

 

WHEREAS, The Department, through the Purchasing Agent, received three bids and WM. J. Keller and Sons Construction Corp. was the lowest qualified bidder, now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with WM. J. Keller and Sons Construction Corp., Castleton, NY 12033 regarding the construction of a salt shed at the Coeymans subdivision in an amount not to exceed $951,181 for a term commencing on June 1, 2026 and ending on May 31, 2027, and be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content prior to the execution thereof, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
