AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 21 FOR 2025 AND AMENDING THE 2025 DEPARTMENT FOR CHILDREN, YOUTH AND FAMILIES BUDGET

By Social Services Committee:
WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 21 for 2025, this Honorable Body authorized an agreement with the New York State Office of Children and Family Services regarding the Healthy Families Home Visiting Program in an amount not to exceed $1,661,052 for a term commencing July 1, 2024 and ending June 30, 2025, and
WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department for Children, Youth and Families has requested an amendment to the aforementioned agreement in the amount of $436,027 to reflect a new total amount of $2,097,079, and
WHEREAS, The Commissioner has also requested an amendment to the 2025 Department for Children, Youth and Families Budget to incorporate the aforementioned funding, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that Resolution No. 21 for 2025 is hereby amended in the amount of $436,027 for a new total amount of $2,097,079, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the 2025 Department for Children, Youth and Families Budget is amended as follows:
and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said amendment as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
