AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH LASALLE SCHOOL REGARDING THE PROVISION OF JUVENILE JUSTICE PREVENTION SERVICES

                     WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Albany County Department for Children, Youth and Families (DCYF) has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with LaSalle School in a collaborative effort with Saint Anne Institute and St. Catherine’s Center for Children regarding the provision of Juvenile Justice Prevention Services in an amount not to exceed $472,675 for a term commencing January 1, 2022 and ending December 31, 2022, with two one-year options to renew, and

 

                     WHEREAS, The collaborative program will provide a cost effective deterrent to detention for youths age 9-17 within Albany County and connect youths with services to address risk factors, and provide protective factors to youths and their families through programming that will be tailored to each family, now, therefore be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with LaSalle School, Albany, NY 12203 in a collaborative effort with Saint Anne Institute and St. Catherine’s Center for Children regarding Juvenile Justice Prevention Services in an amount not to exceed $472,675 for a term commencing January 1, 2022 and ending December 31, 2022, with two one-year options to renew, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
