AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE NEW YORK STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH REGARDING THE IMMUNIZATION ACTION PLAN GRANT PROGRAM

WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Health has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with the New York State Department of Health regarding the Immunization Action Plan Grant Program in an amount not to exceed $784,360 for a term commencing April 1, 2023 and ending March 31, 2028, and
WHEREAS, This program seeks to remove barriers to immunization and to ensure that at least 90 percent of all children in Albany County are completely immunized by their second birthday, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with the New York State Department of Health regarding the Immunization Action Plan Grant Program in an amount not to exceed $784,360 for a term commencing April 1, 2023 and ending March 31, 2028, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
