ADOPTING THE 2025 ALBANY COUNTY HAZARD MITIGATION PLAN

 

                     Introduced: 9/8/25

By Public Safety Committee:

 

                     WHEREAS, The County Executive has requested the adoption of the 2025 Albany County Hazard Mitigation Plan, and

 

                     WHEREAS, The Federal Emergency Management Agency requires that the County update the Hazard Mitigation Plan every five years to remain eligible for certain types of non-emergency disaster assistance, now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the 2025 Albany County Hazard Mitigation Plan is hereby adopted, and that a copy of said plan is on file with the Clerk of the County Legislature, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
