AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH ALL STATES CONSTRUCTION,  INC. D/B/A GORMAN CONSTRUCTION REGARDING COLD-IN-PLACE ASPHALT RECYCLING ON CR401 IN THE TOWN OF WESTERLO AND CR202 IN THE TOWN OF NEW SCOTLAND

By Public Works Committee:

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of Public Works has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with All States Construction, Inc. d/b/a Gorman Construction regarding cold-in-place asphalt recycling on CR401 in the Town of Westerlo and CR202 in the Town of New Scotland in an amount not to exceed $1,601,166 for a term commencing June 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2026, and

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner has indicated that deterioration on these roads requires remediation beyond milling and repaving, and

 

WHEREAS, The Department, pursuant to New York State contract, has recommended All States Construction, Inc. d/b/a Gorman Construction for the cold-in-place asphalt recycling, now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with All States Construction, Inc. d/b/a Gorman Construction, Albany NY 12202 regarding cold-in-place asphalt recycling on CR401 in the Town of Westerlo and CR202 in the Town of New Scotland in an amount not to exceed $1,601,166 for a term commencing June 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2026, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
