AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 287 FOR 2022 REGARDING THE WELLNESS IN NUTRITION PROGRAM AND AMENDING THE 2023 DEPARTMENT FOR AGING BUDGET

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 287 for 2022, this Honorable Body authorized an agreement with the New York State Office for the Aging regarding the Wellness in Nutrition program in the amount of $492,410 for the term commencing April 1, 2022 and ending March 31, 2023, and
WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department for Aging has requested to amend the agreement with the New York State Office for the Aging to include an additional $91,061 due to an increase in grant funding, and
WHEREAS, The Commissioner has also requested an amendment to the 2023 Department for Aging Budget in order to incorporate the additional funding, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that Resolution No. 287 for 2022 is hereby amended in the amount of $91,061 to reflect a new total amount of $583,471, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the 2023 Department for Aging Budget is amended as follows:
Increase Revenue Account A6772 0 3783 Supplement Nutrition Grant by $91,061
Increase Appropriation Account A6772.4 by $91,061 by increasing Line Item A6772 4 4046 Fees for Services by $91,061
and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said amendment as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
