RESOLUTION NO. 580

 

AUTHORIZING THE CONVERSION OF TWO NON-UNION POSITIONS TO UNION POSITIONS IN THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY'S OFFICE

 

                     Introduced: 12/4/23

                     By Personnel Committee:

 

                     WHEREAS, The District Attorney has requested that two non-union Criminal Forensic Auditor positions be changed to unionized Criminal Investigator positions at no anticipated fiscal impact to the budget, and

 

                     WHEREAS, The District Attorney has indicated that converting these positions will reduce compensation errors while also meeting the terms of the collective bargaining agreement between Teamsters Local 294 and the County, now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, That two non-union Criminal Forensic Auditor positions have been converted to unionized Criminal Investigator positions, and, be it further

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve this change as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate Municipal and County Officials.
