AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 113 FOR 2021 AS AMENDED BY RESOLUTION NO. 458 FOR 2021 REGARDING PREVENTION EDUCATION

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 113 for 2021, this Honorable Body authorized an agreement with the New York State Department of Health, Bureau of Women, Infant and Adolescent Health regarding the Rape Prevention and Education Program grant in the amount of $166,750 for the term commencing February 1, 2022 and ending January 31, 2024, and

 

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 458 for 2021, this Honorable Body authorized an amendment to the agreement to include an additional $30,000 to reflect a new total amount of $196,750 and to incorporate the additional funding into the 2021 Crime Victim and Sexual Violence Center Budget, and

 

WHEREAS, The Director of the Crime Victim and Sexual Violence Center has requested to amend the agreement with the New York State Department of Health, Bureau of Women, Infant and Adolescent Health to reflect a nine-month grant extension with an additional $147,563, now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that Resolution No. 113 for 2021 as amended by Resolution No. 458 for 2021 is hereby amended to include an additional $147,563 for a new total amount of $344,313, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That Resolution No. 113 for 2021 as amended by Resolution No. 458 for 2021 is also amended to reflect a term ending date of October 31, 2024, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said amendments as to form and content, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
