AUTHORIZING A LEASE PAYMENT REGARDING THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE OUTREACH CENTER LOCATED AT 155 CLINTON AVENUE IN THE CITY OF ALBANY

By Audit and Finance Committee and Mr. Miller:

 

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 70 for 2009, this Honorable Body authorized a

Memorandum of Understanding and a lease agreement with the Albany Housing

Authority for a payment of $40,000 for office space at 155 Clinton Avenue which permits the District Attorney’s Office to occupy the space rent free for five years and four months with a provision for one five-year renewal at a monthly rate of $625, and,

 

WHEREAS, The District Attorney’s Office has requested authorization of a lease payment in the total amount of $21,016 for office space at 155 Clinton Avenue from March 1, 2021 through February 28, 2023, now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the District Attorney’s Office is hereby authorized to make a payment in the amount of $21,016 to the Albany Housing Authority regarding use of office space at 155 Clinton Avenue in the City of Albany from March 1, 2021 through February 28, 2023, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
