AUTHORIZING AGREEMENTS REGARDING VEHICLE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS FOR COUNTY-OWNED VEHICLES

WHEREAS, The Albany County Sheriff has requested authorization to enter into one-year agreements with two consecutive one-year options to renew with Dotts Garage Inc., Lazzaros Autobody Inc., and New Scotland Auto Center Inc., and

WHEREAS, In cooperation with the County Purchasing Department, the Sheriff's Office issued two requests for bids (RFB) regarding vehicle maintenance and repairs, and

WHEREAS, After a thorough review of the RFB responses, the Sheriff's Office has recommended that the County enter into agreements with the aforementioned vendors for full service lube, oil, and filter changes; car repairs and tune-ups; repairs and rebuilding of transmissions; and auto body repairs and refinishing for County-owned vehicles, now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Dotts Garage Inc., Albany, NY 12205 regarding vehicle maintenance and repairs for County-owned vehicles and within zones to be determined by the Sheriff for a term commencing April 8, 2024 and ending April 7, 2025, with two one-year options to renew, at rates established and in accordance with the aforementioned RFB response, and, be it further

RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Lazzaros Autobody Inc., Green Island, NY 12183 regarding vehicle maintenance and repairs for County-owned vehicles and within zones to be determined by the Sheriff for a term commencing April 8, 2024 and ending April 7, 2025, with two one-year options to renew, at rates established and in accordance with the aforementioned RFB response, and, be it further
