RESOLUTION NO. 531

AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 45 FOR 2019 AS AMENDED REGARDING THE COUNTYWIDE RESILIENCY PLAN

By Conservation, Sustainability, and Green Initiatives Committee:

 

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 45 for 2019, this Honorable Body authorized an agreement with the New York State Department of State to accept grant funding regarding the Countywide Resiliency Grant Program in the amount of $138,145, with no County share, for the term commencing February 11, 2019 and ending on September 12, 2020, and

 

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 25 for 2022, this Honorable Body authorized an amendment to Resolution No. 45 for 2019 to indicate funds previously allocated in the amount of $26,895 for salaries and travel expenses in connection with the Countywide Resiliency Grant Program may be used to compensate Bergmann Associates for engineering services with an ending date of October 31, 2022 rather than September 12, 2020, and

 

                     WHEREAS, The County Executive has requested an amendment to the aforementioned agreement to indicate an ending date of April 30, 2023 rather than October 31, 2022, now, therefore, be it

 

                      RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that Resolution No. 45 for 2019 is hereby amended to indicate an ending date of April 30, 2023 rather than October 31, 2022, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve the aforementioned agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
