AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE TOWN OF NEW SCOTLAND AND THE MASULLO BROTHERS BUILDERS, INC. REGARDING A PEDESTRIAN CONNECTION BETWEEN FAIRFAX BLVD. AND THE ALBANY COUNTY RAIL TRAIL

                     By Public Works Committee, Messrs. Peter and Reinhardt:

 

                     WHEREAS, The County Executive has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with the Town of New Scotland regarding a pedestrian connection between Fairfax Blvd. and the Albany County Rail Trail, and

 

                     WHEREAS, The proposed connection will provide residents of the Kensington Woods Development a pedestrian connection and safe access to the Rail Trail via Fairfax Blvd., now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with the Town of New Scotland regarding a pedestrian connection for the residents of the Kensington Woods Development between Fairfax Blvd. and the Albany County Rail Trail, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
