AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 213 FOR 2021 REGARDING STIMULUS FUNDING FOR THE TITLE III-E CAREGIVER SUPPORT PROGRAM AND AMENDING THE 2021 DEPARTMENT FOR AGING BUDGET

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 213 for 2021, this Honorable Body authorized an agreement with the New York State Office for the Aging regarding stimulus funding for the Title III-E Caregiver Support Program in the amount of $123,060 for the term commencing April 1, 2021 and ending September 30, 2024, and
WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Albany County Department for Aging has requested an amendment to the agreement with the New York State Office for the Aging to indicate a 25% County match requirement, and
WHEREAS, The Commissioner has also requested an amendment to the 2021 Department for Aging Budget in order to incorporate the funding, now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that Resolution No. 213 for 2021 is hereby amended to indicate a 25% County match, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the 2021 Department for Aging Budget is amended as follows:
Increase Revenue Account A4777 Caregiver Assistant Grant by $123,060
Increase Appropriation Account A6772.4 by $123,060 by increasing Line Item A6772 4 4046 Fees for Services by $123,060
and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said amendment as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
