AMENDING RESOLUTION NO 149 FOR 2025 REGARDING MAKING A SEQR DETERMINATION AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF ALBANY

By Audit and Finance Committee:

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 489 for 2024, this Honorable Body authorized the County Executive to purchase various parcels of real property from Albany LLC in order to develop a regional fire tower training facility, in an amount not to exceed $1,100,000, and

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 149 for 2025, this Honorable Body authorized the purchase of the following parcels of real property located in the City of Albany from the Albany Port District Commission for an amount not to exceed $1,100,000:

877 S Pearl Street (Tax Map No. 87.9-3-2)
13 Binghamton Street (Tax Map No. 87.10-2-3.1)
13 Binghamton Street (Tax Map No. 87.14-1-6)

, and

WHEREAS, The County Executive has indicated that upon further review the intended allotment of property for this project was divided into six parcels of real property instead of three, and therefore an amendment to the resolution is necessary to move forward with the project, at no cost to the County, now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature, that Resolution No. 149 for 2025 is hereby amended as follows:

The Third Resolved Clause is hereby amended to read as follows:

"RESOLVED, That the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute on behalf of the County of Albany any and all documents necessary to purchase from Albany Port District Commission, Albany NY 12202 the following parcels of real property located in the City of Albany for a total amount not to exceed $1,100,000:
