AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE NEW YORK STATE OFFICE FOR THE PREVENTION OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE REGARDING THE ENOUGH IS ENOUGH GRANT PROGRAM

WHEREAS, The Director of the Albany County Crime Victim and Sexual Violence Center (CVSVC) has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with the New York State Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence regarding the Enough is Enough grant program in the amount of $142,856 for the term commencing May 1, 2021 and ending April 30, 2022, and
WHEREAS, The Director has indicated that the funding will allow CVSVC to continue partnering with colleges and universities in Albany County to provide prevention activities and direct victim services to students and employees, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with the New York State Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence regarding the Enough is Enough grant program in the amount of $142,856 for the term commencing May 1, 2021 and ending April 30, 2022, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
