AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 57 FOR 2025, AS AMENDED, REGARDING GENERAL CONSTRUCTION SERVICES FOR THE MVP ARENA LOADING DOCK RENOVATION PROJECT

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 57 for 2025, this Honorable Body authorized an agreement with AOW Construction, LLC, Albany, NY 12206 regarding general construction services for the MVP Arena Loading Dock Renovation Project in an amount not to exceed $457,848 for a term commencing April 1, 2025 and ending March 31, 2027, and,
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 136 for 2026 authorized an amendment to include two new hollow metal frame door assemblies at no additional cost to the County, and
WHEREAS, An amendment is necessary to reflect an actual amended amount of $26,176 now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that Resolution No. 57 for 2025 is hereby amended to include two new hollow metal frame door assemblies into two existing separate adjacent openings at the MVP Arena at additional cost of $26,176 and that all terms of the original agreement remain in effect, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said amendment as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
