RESOLUTION NO. 289

 

AMENDING THE 2025 WATER PURIFICATION DISTRICT BUDGET:  CHIEF MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

 

                     Introduced: 8/11/25

By Public Works Committee:

 

                     WHEREAS, The Executive Director for the Water Purification District has requested authorization to amend the 2025 Water Purification District budget regarding the annual salary for the Chief Maintenance Mechanic position, and

 

WHEREAS, The Executive Director has indicated that the Chief Maintenance Mechanic position is essential for the ongoing maintenance and repair of the District’s treatment plants, and

 

WHEREAS, The Executive Director has indicated that a $9,500 increase is necessary to make the salary competitive with similar positions in the region, now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the 2025 Department of Public Works Budget is hereby amended as follows:

 

 

and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
