AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE NEW YORK STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH/HEALTH RESEARCH, INC. REGARDING THE EXPANDED PARTNER SERVICES PROGRAM

WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Albany County Department of Health has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH)/Health Research, Inc. (HRI) regarding the Expanded Partner Services (EXPS) program in an amount not to exceed $105,000 for the term commencing April 1, 2021 and ending March 31, 2022, and
WHEREAS, The Commissioner indicated that the funding will be used to support the provision of HIV prevention and care services for people living with HIV/AIDS within Albany County, now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with the NYSDOH/HRI regarding the EXPS program in an amount not to exceed $105,000 for the term commencing April 1, 2021 and ending March 31, 2022, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
