AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH COMMUNITY MATERNITY SERVICES REGARDING THE PROVISION OF CLINICAL PREVENTION SERVICES WITH COMMUNITY AND RECREATIONAL SUPPORTS

WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Albany County Department for Children, Youth and Families has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with Community Maternity Services regarding the provision of Clinical Prevention Services with Community and Recreational Supports in an amount not to exceed $428,561 for a term commencing January 1, 2022 and ending December 31, 2022, with two one-year options to renew, and

 

WHEREAS, Clinical Prevention Services with Community and Recreational Supports include assessment, diagnostic testing, clinical and specialized therapies provided by a person who has received a Master of Social Work degree, Master of Mental Health Counseling degree, or is a licensed Psychologist, now, therefore be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Community Maternity Services, Albany, NY 12203 regarding Clinical Prevention Services with Community and Recreational Supports in an amount not to exceed $428,561 for a term commencing January 1, 2022 and ending December 31, 2022, with two one-year options to renew, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
