AUTHORIZING SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 4 WITH THE NEW YORK STATE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION REGARDING THE 2025/2026 WINTER ROAD MAINTENANCE SEASON SNOW AND ICE AGREEMENT

By Public Works Committee:

 

                     WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of Public Works has requested authorization to enter into supplemental agreement No. 4 with the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) regarding the 2025/2026 winter road maintenance season snow and ice agreement in the amount of $311,002, and

 

                     WHEREAS, Supplemental agreement No. 4 amends the estimated expenditure incurred by NYSDOT for County snow removal on State roads by adding $311,002 in funding to account for increases in labor, materials, and total costs, now, therefore, be it

                     

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into supplemental agreement No. 4 with the NYSDOT regarding the 2025/2026 winter road maintenance season snow and ice agreement in the amount of  $311,002, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
