APPOINTMENT OF A MEMBER OF THE ALBANY COUNTY SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT BOARD

WHEREAS, In accordance with Sections 6 and 7 of the New York State Soil and Water Conservation Districts Law, three of the five directors appointed by the Legislature shall serve a term of three years; and
WHEREAS, There is a vacancy in one of the positions reserved for active farmers recommended by the Farm Bureau, and Mr. Timothy Stanton of New Scotland, NY has been recommended; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That Timothy Stanton of New Scotland, NY be appointed as Farm Bureau Representative for a term ending December 31, 2027, and be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County officials.
