RESOLUTION NO. 57

 

AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH LABELLA ASSOCIATES, D.P.C REGARDING CONSTRUCTION AND ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES FOR HIGH VOLTAGE UPGRADES AT THE WATER PURIFICATION DISTRICT’S NORTH AND SOUTH PLANTS

By Public Works Committee:

 

                     WHEREAS, The Executive Director of the Water Purification District has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with LaBella Associates, D.P.C regarding construction and administrative services for high voltage upgrades at the Water Purification District’s North and South Plants in an amount not to exceed $850,000 for a term commencing on the date of the contract execution and ending four years following, and

 

WHEREAS, The Executive Director has indicated that LaBella Associates, D.P.C will develop a Basis of Design report, design documents, and provide construction administrative services associated with the high voltage upgrades, and 

 

WHEREAS, The District, through the Purchasing Agent, received seven bids and LaBella Associates, D.P.C was the lowest qualified bidder, now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with LaBella Associates, D.P.C, Rochester, NY 14614 regarding construction and administrative services for high voltage upgrades at the Water Purification District’s North and South Plants in an amount not to exceed $850,000 for a term commencing on the date of the contract execution and ending four years following, and be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content prior to the execution thereof, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
