AMENDING THE 2025 SHERIFF'S OFFICE BUDGET: EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PERFORMANCE GRANT

By Public Safety Committee:

 

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 33 for 2025, this Honorable Body authorized an agreement with the New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services regarding 2024 Emergency Management Performance Grant funding in an amount of $115,836 for a term commencing October 1, 2023 and ending September 30, 2026, and

 

WHEREAS, The Sheriff has requested a budget amendment to allow for the purchase of movable barriers and a trailer for their transport using the aforementioned funding, now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, That the 2025 Sheriff’s Office Budget is hereby amended as follows:

 

 

and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
