AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH IMPACT MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS, INC. REGARDING AN OPIOID PUBLIC EDUCATION CAMPAIGN

By Health Committee:

 

                     WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Health has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with Impact Marketing and Communications, Inc. regarding an opioid public education campaign in the amount of $150,000 for the term commencing December 1, 2025 and ending December 31, 2026, and

 

                     WHEREAS, The Commissioner, through the Purchasing Agent, issued a request for proposals regarding an opioid public awareness campaign and has recommended awarding the contract to Impact Marketing and Communications, Inc. as the proposer providing the best value to Albany County, now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with Impact Marketing and Communications, Inc., Niskayuna, NY 12309 regarding an opioid public education campaign in an amount not to exceed $150,000 for the term commencing December 1, 2025 and ending December 31, 2026, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
