AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 287 FOR 2022, AS AMENDED BY RESOLUTION NO. 272 FOR 2023, REGARDING THE WELLNESS IN NUTRITION PROGRAM AND AMENDING THE 2024 DEPARTMENT FOR AGING BUDGET

By Elder Care Committee:
WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 287 for 2022, this Honorable Body authorized an agreement with the New York State Office for the Aging regarding the Wellness in Nutrition Program in the amount of $492,410 for the term commencing April 1, 2022 and ending March 31, 2023, and
WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 272 for 2023, this Honorable Body authorized an amendment to the agreement with the New York State Office for the Aging in the amount of $91,061 for a new total amount not to exceed $583,471, and
WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department for Aging has requested to further amend the aforementioned agreement to include an additional $38,127 due to an increase in grant funding, and
WHEREAS, The Commissioner has also requested an amendment to the 2024 Department for Aging Budget in order to incorporate the additional funding, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that Resolution No. 287 for 2022 is hereby further amended in the amount of $38,127 to reflect a new total amount of $621,598, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the 2024 Department for Aging Budget is amended as follows:
Increase Revenue Account A6772 0 3783 Supplement Nutrition Grant by $38,127
Increase Appropriation Account A6772.4 by $38,127 by increasing Line Item A6772 4 4046 Fees for Services by $38,127
and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said amendment as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
