RESOLUTION NO. 339
AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF TWO STORYBOARDS ALONG THE ALBANY COUNTY HELDERBERG-HUDSON RAIL TRAIL

By Conservation, Sustainability, and Initiatives Committee and Mr. Miller:
WHEREAS, Tyler Sagendorph, a local Boy Scout from the Town of Bethlehem, has proposed the installation of two storyboards on the Albany County Helderberg-Hudson Rail Trail and maintained by the Town of Bethlehem and the Town Highway Department, at no cost to the County, and
WHEREAS, The County Executive has indicated that the storyboards built by Boy Scout Sagendorph will display and highlight various biographies of note, with one to be installed at the Slingerlands trailhead near the exercise equipment and the other to be installed in the Hamlet of Elsmere near the Bethlehem Veterans Memorial, and
WHEREAS, The County Executive has also indicated that the Town of Bethlehem and the Town Highway Department have already agreed to install the storyboards at no cost to the County, now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, That the County Executive is authorized to execute any necessary documents to permit the project to move forward, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said documents as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
