AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE NEW YORK STATE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION REGARDING DESIGN AND RIGHT-OF-WAY MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR THE SOUTH ALBANY ROAD (CR53) OVER ONESQUETHAW CREEK BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT

By Public Works Committee:

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner of the Department of Public Works has requested authorization to enter into an agreement with the New York State Department of Transportation regarding design and right-of-way services for the South Albany Road (CR53) over Onesquethaw Creek Bridge Replacement Project in an amount not to exceed $581,452 for a term commencing January 30, 2025 and ending July 30, 2030, and

 

WHEREAS, This project was awarded from the 2023 BridgeNY funding initiative, now, therefore, be it

 

RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the County Executive is authorized to enter into an agreement with New York State Department of Transportation regarding design and right-of-way management services for the South Albany Road (CR53) over Onesquethaw Creek Bridge Replacement Project in an amount not to exceed $581,452 for a term commencing January 30, 2025 and ending July 30, 2030, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said agreement as to form and content, and, be it further

 

RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
