AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 421 FOR 2021 REGARDING RESIDENTIAL AND TREATMENT SERVICES AND AMENDING THE 2022 DEPARTMENT OF MENTAL HEALTH BUDGET

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 421 for 2021, this Honorable Body authorized an agreement with Hope House, Inc. regarding the provision of residential and treatment services for individuals with chemical dependencies, in an amount not to exceed $3,118,478 for a term commencing January 1, 2022 and ending December 31, 2022, and
WHEREAS, The Director of Mental Health has been notified of additional funding to cover a 2022 Cost of Living Adjustment and has requested an amendment to the agreement with Hope House Inc. in the amount of $116,432 to reflect a new total contract amount of $3,234,910, and
WHEREAS, The Director has also indicated that a budget amendment is necessary to incorporate $79,702 of the aforementioned funding into the 2022 Department of Mental Health Budget, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that Resolution No. 421 for 2021 is hereby amended in the amount of $116,432 to reflect a new total contract amount of $3,234,910, and, be it further
RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that the 2022 Department of Mental Health Budget is amended as follows:
Increase Revenue Account A3486 Narcotic Addition Control by $79,702
Increase Appropriation Account A4230.4 by $79,702 by increasing Line Item A4230 4 4412 Hope House/Project Hope by $79,702
and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said amendments as to form and content, and, be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
