RESOLUTION NO. 241

 

AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 252 FOR 2022 REGARDING THE RABIES GRANT PROGRAM

 

                     Introduced:  6/9/25

                     By R. Joyce, Beston, Lockart, Miller and Pedo:

 

WHEREAS, By Resolution No. 252 for 2022, this Honorable Body authorized an agreement with the New York State Department of Health regarding the Rabies Grant Program in an amount of $49,072 per year for a total amount of $147,216 for the term commencing April 1, 2022 and ending March 31, 2025, and

 

WHEREAS, The Commissioner has requested a two-year extension for a new end date of March 31, 2027, with an additional $49,072 per year for a new total amount of $245,360, now, therefore, be it

 

                     RESOLVED, By the Albany County Legislature that Resolution No. 252 for 2022 is hereby amended to reflect a new ending date of March 31, 2027 with an additional $49,072 per year for a new total amount of $245,360, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the County Attorney is authorized to approve said amendment as to form and content, and, be it further

 

                     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the County Legislature is directed to forward certified copies of this resolution to the appropriate County Officials.
